Sue Ramirez Feels Better After Giving Up On Coffee, Softdrinks, Vaping

Sue Ramirez opened up about how giving up on coffee, softdrinks, and vaping did wonders for her body, saying she now “feels so much better” without them.

Ramirez took to her Threads page on Friday, July 4, to share about how being “consistent” in turning off “one switch” was a big help in taking care of herself and her body.

“I just want to share my goals for myself since June, and so far, I am very consistent. Only goes to show that we just have to decide and stand by it if we want change. One day was all I needed. A new awakening. Just one switch inside you, and you are possible to do anything,” she began.

“Now, I have stopped drinking coffee and soft drinks and I also stopped vaping. Habits I thought I could never remove from my system. Now I feel so much better without them,” she continued.

The actress also urged her followers to “stop vaping” in a follow-up post.

Touching on her health in a separate post, the actress also shared that she had “two torn ligaments” sometime in November of last year, although she has already regained her strength.

“Had 2 torn ligaments in just 2 months (Nov-Jan)… Painful? Sobra. Unimaginably so. But looking back, I get amazed at our body’s ability to heal. You go from being immobilized for nearly four months, losing sleep from the constant, throbbing pain,” she said. “To slowly regaining strength, you work to build muscle around the injury, and then one day you just wake up and realize you’re okay.”

The “Flower Girl” star then reflected how a body’s healing process is applicable in life as well, as it takes time for pain to be “more manageable.”

“‘Yung process ng healing ng katawan natin, applicable siya sa life (The process of healing in our bodies is applicable in life),” she said.

“How time really does heal all wounds, and it’s surprising how suddenly we wake up not feeling the pain anymore. Or meron mang pain mas manageable na siya ngayon. Kasi mas malakas ka na (Or you still have pain, but it’s more manageable now because you’re stronger).

Ramirez made headlines earlier this year after it was confirmed that she is dating actor-content creator Dominic Roque, after they were spotted kissing at a bar in Siargao in November 2024.

They have since been spotted together going on multiple dates in the Philippines and other countries, and have already met each other’s families. /edv
