Cannabis Shop Interviewing To Fill Jobs In Hudson Valley

The cannabis industry continues to grow, and one cannabis shop in the Hudson Valley is looking to fill several positions. The Orange County Cannabis Co. is hosting a career fair to find qualified individuals for various roles at their future location in Wawayanda.

The career fair will take place on Friday from 11 am to 2 pm. Interviews will be conducted on-site, so attendees should come prepared with resumes and identification. All jobs are open to individuals aged 21 and older.

The positions available at the Orange County Cannabis Co. include budtenders, security personnel, fulfillment staff, and runners. The company is looking to hire between 20 and 25 people for these positions. While previous experience working at a cannabis dispensary or personal use of cannabis is not required, a passion for the cannabis plant is essential.

Owner Howard Libron expressed his excitement about opening up an adult-use cannabis dispensary in the Hudson Valley. He stated that finding the perfect location, building out the store, selecting inventory, and managing the retail opening has been a challenging but rewarding experience.

Libron emphasized that he is looking for individuals who support cannabis, both recreationally and medicinally, and are eager to educate others about the benefits and uses of the plant. The goal is to provide high-quality and tested cannabis products to the mid-Hudson Valley and surrounding areas.
